Omb's Office discusses National Action Plan on human rights defense

Ombudsperson Elmira Suleymanova said that great activities were carried out when the National Action Plan was approved.

According to the National Action Plan approved in 1998 Scientific-Research Institute was established, special attention was paid to training specialists, some amendments were made to the legislation, she said.

Suleymanova noted that they hold discussions with state bodies, international organizations, NGOs about National Action Plan.

Ombudsperson said National Action Plan includes activity in the sphere of improving normative legal basis and cooperation with international organizations dealing with human rights APA reports.
