New coach for national U-21 team

Shakir Geribov, 51, appointed as a head coach of Azerbaijan's U-21 team.

AFFA National Teams Department chief Behruz Asgerov told APA-Sport Geribov's candidacy was supported at the conference in AFFA headquarters. AFFA secretary general Fuad Asadov and national squad head coach Shahin Diniyev also participated in the conference. Shakir Geribov is a coach assistant in the national squad and also trains under-age teams. Keeping his posts Geribov will train Azerbaijan's Olympic team till the end of the season.

Yashar Vahabzade and Rafig Mirzoyev have been appointed his assistants.
