Former World boxing champion Agasi Mammadov returns

Next Azerbaijan boxing championship will start on January 23 in Baku Sport Palace.

Former World champion Agasi Mammadov will also join the championship. He had left the ring for 2 years because of injury.

He told APA he has been fully rehabilitated and will fight in 57kg. Head coach of the national team Mammed Eyvazov confirmed his joining the national championship. His main opponent will be the captain of the team Shahin Imranov.
