Arif Hasanov: "Seismic situation is steady"

The earthquakes happened in Turkey and Iran did not influence Azerbaijan.

Azerbaijan National Sciences Academy Republic Seismology Department chief Arif Hasanov told the APA that at present any seismological activity was not recorded in Azerbaijan and the situation is steady.

Hasanov said that the anomalous weather has no connection with the earthquakes. He stated only little shocks in Karabakh area, the eastern part of Small Caucasus were reported within the past month.
