University entrance exams to start on Saturday

Azerbaijan's State Student Admission Commission tomorrow will conduct university entrance exams on the I group of majors as well as entrance exams to military higher schools and military lyceums.

The commission told the APA there are 127 vacancies on the I major group in 17 state-owned and 7 private higher schools. 29,587 examinees will sit entrance exams tomorrow. The exams will be held in 52 buildings in the capital Baku and 3 in Nakhchivan. 161 examinees are foreign citizens.

Most of the applicants chose mathematics faculty in the Baku State University and faculty of exploitation of oil fields in Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.
