Academic Eldar Salayev's family to re-appeal for his treatment abroad

The academic's son Elman Salayev told APA that this issue will be discussed with the human rights defenders soon. Salayev said his father's eyes are in bad health, he can get blind if he is not treated immediately. He also said this disease can only be treated abroad.

Academic Eldar Salayev together with several government officials faced the charge of staging a coup. He can leave the country for treatment only if Azerbaijan's Prosecutor-General allows.
