Shostakovich Music Festival to be held in Baku

The Dmitri Shostakovich Music Festival will be held in the Muslum Magomayev Azerbaijan State Philharmony.


Mstislav Rastropovich, the world-famed violoncellist, will also take part in this festival organized in Baku for the first time. Russia State symphonic orchestra, the Shostakovich and Borodin stringed quartet orchestra, Azerbaijan State symphonic orchestra, Oksana Dika and Victor Tretyakov will also take part in the Festivity.
