Debt of papers to publishing house to be paid on account of state budget under presidential decree

President Ilham Aliyev issued a decree on payment the debts of the papers to the publishing house "Azerbaijan".

Under the decree, the debts of the papers till December 31, 2001 to the house (398 046.2 AZN) will be paid for the account of the state budget. The decree states the development of independent, free and professional media, provision of information and freedom of speech to be the priorities of the domestic policy of Azerbaijan, ANS informs.
