Jubilee of Tatar poet due in Baku

The government of Tatarstan approved program of jubilee festivities related to the 100 birthday of Tatar poet, Soviet Union Hero Musa Jalil /1906-1944/, AzerTAg referring to Tatarstan news agency reports. Jubilee festivities will take place in Moscow, Azerbaijan, Orenburg, Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Berlin, Ukraine and Kirgizistan. Collected works of the poet in 5 volumes, as well as 'Moabitsky copy-books' in Tatar and Russian languages had written by poet in Fascist concentration camp before the execution will be soon issued. Russian TV will broadcast film of Musa Jalil's feat. According to the organizing committee led by Minister of Culture and mass communications of Russian Federation Alexander Sokolov, memorial tablet will be opened in Moscow.

Musa Jalil's jubilee is conducting in the framework of Year of literature and art in accordance with the decree of President M. Shaymiyev.
