Azerbaijan confirms 542 new COVID-19 cases

Some 542 people tested positive COVID-19 in Azerbaijan in the past 24 hours, bringing the tally of coronavirus cases to 21,916, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers reported on July 8.

In addition, nine patients have died and 465 have recovered.

So far, 274 people have died of COVID-19 in the country and 8,542 people are under treatment in special hospitals. Overall, 537,230 tests have been conducted in the country to reveal coronavirus cases.
