Three-time Grammy winning jazz singer Dee Dee Bridgewater has praised the beauty of the Azerbaijani capital of Baku as she spoke to journalists following her concert at the Heydar Aliyev Center.
“Baku is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever been to. Everything here makes an indelible impression on me. I would like to come back to your country with great pleasure,” said the American jazz singer.
“The city is very beautiful, especially at nights when lights make it even more charming. The Azerbaijani people are very friendly. You can be proud of your country.”
She also touched upon her concert, saying it was a success. “There was good a communication with the audience during the concert. The Azerbaijani audience has a good sense of music.”
Bridgewater also said the Heydar Aliyev Center was one the most beautiful places she had ever visited.
