Road tragedies in Baku – VIDEO

Negligence of drivers and inattention of pedestrians are also among the causes of the road accidents, Baku State Central Traffic Police Department spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Vagif Asadov said. The department provided video of road accidents spotted by the Safe City camera system.

In January-June of 2012, 1,278 road accidents killed  436 people and injured 1,361  in Azerbaijan. Some 553 accidents (148  killed, 584 wounded) were registered in Baku.
