Ireli head visits US

Chairman of the Ireli Public Union Rauf Mardiyev is visiting the United States as a participant of the IVLP professional program implemented by the US Department of State.

IVLP is a professional program of exchange implemented by the US Department of State since 1940. The aim of the program is to familiarize the leaders of other countries with the United States and to achieve mutual understanding between the parties.

According to the news service for Ireli, during the visit the participants of the program visited Washington, Philadelphia, New York, held different-level meetings with representatives of the UN, Senate and Congress, Supreme Court, US Department of State, as well as independent research centers and NGOs.

Rauf Mardiyev met Azerbaijani ambassador in US Elin Suleymanov and representatives of the Azerbaijani community.
