Baku Metro will surprise passengers

Baku Metro chief engineer Humay Humbatov said construction of the second transit subway station at the Hazi Aslanov station was launched on the Khudu Mammadov Street since last year. “Pit of the station is already ready, a tunnel was dug in the direction of Gunashli . Drilling operations continue in the direction of the Yeni Guneshli and Bakikhanov settlements,” he said.

He said the new station will be opened in the Guneshli village near the brickworks and in the Yeni Guneshli settlement - next to the park, which is under construction.
 
"The construction work is expected to be completed by late 2015. Further there will be constructed new branch, which will include three new stations,from the Khatai metro station to the Hazi Aslanov station,” he noted.
