Rescuers find dead body of fishermen in Caspian Sea - UPDATE

The Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry’ rescuers found dead body of one of three fishermen, who went missing in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea. The body was found at about 30 km from the Pirallahi island on Thursday. The search for the remaining two fishermen is underway.

Names of those who went missing in the Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea become known. APA reported with reference to the Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry that they are Maharram Nasirov, Victor Turin and Alexander Ribachok. The  General Directorate of Traffic Police was also involved in the operation.

The Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry’ rescuers found an overturned boat, in which three fishermen went to sea, at about 30 km from the Pirallahi island. The ministry reported that the search for missing fishermen continues.

The Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry has launched the search for three fishermen who went missing the day before near the Pirallahi island. The fishermen went to sea in a motor boat. The ministry’s helicopter was also involved in the rescue operation. The search operation continues.
