Number of kindergartens maybe increased in Baku

The Azerbaijani Education Ministry and the Baku City Executive Power are conducting the receive-transmit process in connection with the transfer of kindergartens, nurseries and children’s homes from the Ministry’s authority under the authority of the Mayor’s Office.

The Baku Executive Power informs that the process of receive-transmit to take certain time is underway.

"The main purpose of the transfer of the above-listed organizations udner authority of the executive power is lack of money at the Education Ministry for financing these facilities at due level. After completion of the receipt-transmit process the executive power plans to increase much the number of kindergartens, as its current quantity fails to meet the actual demand, including the fact that the country’s parliament is currently debating the issue of mandatory visits to kindergartens," the executive power says.
