Traffic movement restored on Agsu pass

The traffic in Agsu passage of Baku-Shamakhi-Yevlakh highway, which was temporarily closed owing to the cold and frosty weather, was restored, the Central State Traffic Police Office reported.

Agsu passage, Muganli-Ismayilli, Ismayilli-Lahij highways were cleaned from the snow and the traffic was restored. Due to the cold weather, the Main State Traffic Police Office urged the drivers to be attentive when moving towards the abovementioned directions.

Thickness of snow cover is 15-20 cm snow in Agsu passage, 25-30 cm in mountainous villages. The employees of Agsu Road Exploitation Office splashed the roads with sand and salt for the purpose of providing the safe traffic movement.
