Ekol completes several environmental projects

JSC Ekol muhendislik xidmetleri has been working on the bioremediation of 77,700 cubic metres of oil sludge at four land areas in Azerbaijan during 2011, the company reported.

In particular, the company carried out work on the bioremediation of 38,600 cubic metres of oil sludge from 10 acres in Absheronneft for the oil and gas management of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR).

Work was also done on 4,400 cubic metres of sludge in an area of two hectares for Balahanyneft , 25,300 cubic metres in an area of five hectares in the village of Kurdakhani and 9,400 cubic metres of sludge on five acres for the Amirov oil and gas production plant.
