Azerbaijan closes over 20 tourist companies

The Azerbaijani Culture and Tourism Ministry issued a license to a number of companies and hotels, as well as suspended licenses of 22 tourism companies, the ministry reported.

The ministry granted licenses for tourist activities to "RİAD TOUR" and "AZLİT", and licenses for hotel activities İzel (Tovuz) and Gashalti sanatorium  (Naphthalene). The activities of 22 tour companies operating in Baku, including Azeriler-A, Turbet, AB Travel, Arafat, Universe Travel, Inc. American Tours, Mikado, EM-AY Seyahet,, Bon Voyaj, Nasano Qrup, Metropol Travel, Gala Travel, Shelale AA Travel, Asan-Tur,  CAM QRUP,  Royal Travels,  ALMA Tourism, Chinar , Tourism , Comfort Travel  and Discover, were suspended.
