More labour rights' violations in construction sector

According to preliminary data, most labour rights' violations in Azerbaijan occur in the construction sector, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Trade Unions Confederation Sattar Mehbalyev told reporters. Mr Mehbalyev added that a conference of  the Trade Unions will be held in Azerbaijan on Feb.5-7, 2012.

"In 2012, all the trade unions will hold election meetings. The following year, elections will take place to elect chairmen for regional organizations and national committees. We will also be given information on the work of trade unions over the past five years by late 2011," he said.
