Azerbaijani scientists find "antidote" against earthquakes - VIDEO - PHOTO

Azerbaijani scientists have developed a system determining the coordinates of epicenters of the abnormal seismic processes. The operation process of the "Anomalous Seismic Processes robast Noise monitorinq " were tested through the experiments carried out by members of the Cybernetics Institute of the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences (ANAS) on Nov. 20 in wells No.5 on the Gum Island in the Caspian Sea and No.427 Shirvanneft.

With their help, it was possible to determine the crustal aftershocks within a radius of 300-500 km for 10-15 hours prior to their origin.

Moreover, there were established models, algorithms and programs to determine the coordinates of epicenter of the earthquake through the stations established in Siyazan and Naftalan. The Council of Europe has awarded a grant for this in accordance with the positive responses of Canadian, American and Greek scholars.
