Armenian President appoints new chief of staff

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan signed a decree on Monday appointing Vigen Sargsyan chief of presidential staff.

During the consultations in administration he presented the new chief of staff to the employees wishing him success in his future career. President Sargsyan expressed confidence that newly appointed chief of staff will successfully perform his duties and fulfill the tasks he is faced with, presidential press service informed News.am.

Previously Vigen Sargsyan held the post of deputy chief. The post of chief of staff remained vacant after Karen Karapetyan resigned.
