Son of Armenian businessman killed in accident

A young man died in an accident in the region of Ararat, Armenia.

Police received an alarm from the Artashat hospital that Yervand Avagyan, 25, resident of the Ararat region, was hospitalized being already dead, photo journalist Gagik Shamshyan said..

Police found out that on the same day the vehicle belonging to Ashot Malkhasyan, 26, overturned near the village of Lanjazat. Passanger Yervand Avagyan got injuries and died on the way to hospital. Criminal case is instituted.

According to the local residents, Avagyan is the son of a famous Artashat businessman Gagik Avagyan.
