Iran takes Shahin and Mersad ballistic rockets

Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base General Farzad Esmaili urges that the initial sample of Shahin and Mersad ballistic rockets have been assigned to Khatam al-Anbiya Company and it is under testing and launching, Irna reported.

"We already launched some Mersad and Shahin rockets on country's air defense network "Esmaili said.

According to Esmaili, Iran could construct the long-term air defense systems, despite the international sanctions against Iran.
