Armenian police officer tried to rob bank

Armenian police officer tried to rob a bank in Yerevan. He entered one of the Yerevan branches of Converse Bank and started firing. The criminal was neutralized by the policemen who arrived at the scene. The robber, identified as Arthur Hakobyan, was injured and taken to hospital, photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan said.

The experts working at the scene have found a Makarov pistol and money in an envelope.
