Armenian President discussed Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with Hillary Clinton

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton within the framework of Munich Security Conference on February 5, Armenia Today reported on Sunday.

Armenian President emphasized the importance of the U.S. role in resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as preservation of peace and stability in South Caucasus.

Clinton, in turn, emphasized U.S. readiness to support rapprochement between Armenia and Turkey, Armenian presidential press service reported.

The parties further focused on development of bilateral relations and expansion of Armenia-U.S. economic ties. The delegation headed by the President of Armenia returned from Munich to Yerevan.
