On-line trade volume is scanty in Armenia

“Most businesses are not interested in on-line trade, as it will make their activities more transparent,” Avoyan said adding that consumers also distrust on-line trade for quality of goods and delivery terms.

According to Avoyan, on-line trade is widely spread all over the globe, particularly in tourism sector.

In here, over half of deals are made on-line, making in Armenia only 0.01 percent of deals.

“Nevertheless, certain activity in Armenian on-line market was recently registered,” Avoyan concluded.
