As the commission member, parliamentary majority representative Bezhan Khrutsidze states, if Eduard Shevardnadze refuses to attend parliament, they will pay visit to the ex-President.

Khurtsidze said that the commission has many questions to Eduard Shevardnadze, especially after meeting with ex officials in Russia.

Khurtsidze was in Moscow together with the chairperson of the commission Konstanine Gamsakhurdia.

They met with Igor Giorgadze there, who told the commission members that Zviad Gamsakhurdia’s death was profitable to Eduard Shevardnadze, as the first president hindered him in legitimization.

The commission members were not able to meet with Shota Kviraia, who refused to contact them.
