Turkish team rescues Haiti woman after 8 days

Turkish search and rescue team AKUT pulled a woman alive under the rubble of a supermarket eight days after the Haiti earthquake.
AKUT, working in cooperation with French rescue teams, pulled out the 24-year-old Haitian women from the rubble, raising number of people it rescued to 6.

The devastating quake in Haiti killed tens of thousands of people and left thousands of others homeless and destitute.

It was the most devastating quake recorded in the last two centuries.
