UNESCO, IRNA ink cooperation agreement

Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) have signed an agreement on cooperation, according to IRNA.


The agreement, which was signed by Managing Director of IRNA Mohammad Khoddadi and Director and Representative of UNESCO Cluster Office in Tehran Esther Kuisch Laroche, aims to develop bilateral cooperation on information dissemination and education.


According to the agreement, UNESCO will provide facilities for development of joint projects including holding training programs and different workshops in Iran in order to increase awareness of UNESCO missions and activities.


During the signing ceremony, IRNA expressed readiness for further coverage of news about UNESCO activities in Iran and the world.


IRNA will be also ready to hold exhibitions in Iran and other countries in cooperation with the UNESCO.
