Araqchi: New UNSC resolution invites all to nuclear cooperation with Iran

Deputy Foreign Minister Abbass Araqchi said on Friday that the new UN Security Council resolution encourages all countries to have nuclear cooperation with Iran, IRNA reported.

Addressing governors and district directors of East Azarbaijan Province in Tabriz, Araqichi said, 'While former UN Security Council resolutions asserted that Iran nuclear program is a banned program and no country has the right to help the country, the new resolution encourages all countries have nuclear cooperation with our country.'

Araqchi said former UNSC resolutions assigned all countries before the JCPOA to stop any plane and ship heading towards Iran and Iranian students were not entitled to stuy in nuclear branches of study, but conditions are now reversed and all countries are encouraged to cooperate with our country.

Referring to the JCPOA as a big achievement for Iranian nation, Araqchi said Iranian people withstood atll threats and sanctions in 12 years to prove to the world that peaceful nuclear energy is their absolute right.
