Ankara and Washington will discuss the issues of settlement of the Syrian crisis during the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the US, Turkish Star newspaper reported March 11.

Erdogan will visit the US from March 29 to April 2, according to the newspaper.

The parties will also discuss the creation of security zone for the Syrian refugees in northern Syria (on the border with Turkey) during the visit.

It was previously reported that Turkey considers the creation of security zones in Syria between the cities of Aleppo, Idlib and the Turkish border (including the border towns of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani), Jarabulus and others).

Earlier, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu called on the UN to make decision about the creation of security zones in Syria.
