Kazakh president introduces new chairman of national security committee

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev has introduced new chairman of the Kazakh National Security Committee Vladimir Zhumakanov to the administrative board of the agency, the press service of the Kazakh president said Dec.25, Kazinform news agency reported.

Lieutenant General Zhumakanov replaced Nurtai Abykayev, who previously held the post of first deputy chairman of the Kazakh National Security Committee, according to the press service.
