Another earthquake hits Tajikistan

An earthquake measuring 5 points on the Richter scale took place in Tajikistan this night.

No information about any damage and victims is available yet.

The epicenter of the quake was located 98 km from Lake Karakul located in Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, and 346 kilometers from Dushanbe.

Earlier, the earthquake measuring .2 on the Richter scale jolted Tajikistan on December 7. Two people died and 15 were hospitalized as a result. More than 500 residential houses were destroyed completely or partially.
