A poll conducted by the APR Group showed that 57 percent of respondents are dissatisfied with the Armenian National Assembly, and 47 percent with the Armenian President, Serj Sargsyan.

The survey was conducted throughout the country by involving 1,300 citizens.

The poll revealed that 39 percent of the respondents are willing to leave Armenia for permanent residence in another country. Considering the current situation with migration in the country, those numbers inspire fears for the country’s future.

The Armenian people, whose government is not concerned about minimum living standards in the country, are being forced to leave the country. Some 45,000-50,000 people leave Armenia a year. The deteriorating socio-economic situation, high poverty, growing rate of unemployment and an absence of hope for a bright future are said to be among the primary reasons behind the mass migration outflows.

According to a survey in connection with the problems in the country, 39 percent of respondents identified a low level of economic development, 44 percent mentioned in migration, and 34 percent named rise in prices.

The poverty rate reached 30 percent in Armenia in 2014, showed the other poll conducted by the National Statistical Service. The lowest poverty rate was fixed in Yerevan at 25.2 percent. This figure is 1.4 times lower than in other cities.

the overwhelming majority of the interviewed -- 71 percent -- believe that the number of problems is widening as time passes.

Indeed, problems are only increasing and touch every sphere in this poor country. Ill-conceived policy of the Armenian government, both internal and foreign, drove the country to the abyss.

As of the constitutional amendments which are currently on the agenda, 47 percent of citizens do not trust them.

Some 50 percent of respondents are sure that the Armenian society cannot influence on the authorities’ decisions in the political process.
