The volume of Georgia’s export to Turkey in Jan.-Oct. 2015 has dropped by 18 percent ($35 million) compared to the same period in 2014 and exceeded $160.5 million, Sputnik Georgia reported citing the National Statistics Office of Georgia.
Georgia has exported semi-finished products of iron or non-alloy steel valued at $19 million to Turkey in Jan.-Oct. 2015, or $6.2 million less compared to the same period in 2014.
The country’s electricity export to Turkey has increased by $ 2 million and neared $17 million, while the export of knitted products has grown by $ 3.8 million and exceeded $34.4 million.
Georgia’s foreign trade turnover with Turkey exceeded $1.2 billion in Jan.-Oct. 2015, or 22 percent less than in the same period in 2014.
