Antiterrorist operation underway in Istanbul

Turkish police are conducting an antiterrorist operation in Istanbul, the Anadolu Agency reported Sept. 2.

Police have already made arrests as part of the special operation. But the number of those detained is yet to be announced.

Details of the operation haven’t been revealed either.

Over 2,500 people have been so far arrested in the antiterrorist operations in Turkey.
