Iranian police confiscates clothes bearing US, UK flags

Iranian police have collected clothes bearing American, British flags and satanic symbols from several boutiques in capital Tehran.

“Based on tip off received from residents and following a two week-long surveillance, wears with the American and British flags and satanic symbols have been collected from some boutiques in Tehran,” Tehran's Police Chief, Hossein Sajediniya said, Mehr News Agency reported.

The police chief of the Iranian capital did not elaborate on the number of shops and the volume of the confiscated items.

Iranian police have a morality control department which regularly conducts operations to ensure the observance of the Islamic dress code and elimination of items which is seen by the law enforcement forces as illegal and immoral.
