Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili presented the country's new foreign minister on November 11.

Tamar Beruchashvili, who previously served as the deputy foreign minister, has filled the shoes of Maia Panjikidze as Georgia's foreign minister.

Panjikidze resigned on her own will on November 5 following the dismissal of Defense Minister Irakli Alasnia.

Beruchasvili promised to keep Georgia's foreign policy course unchanged and go on the way to European integration.

“I'm delighted that I have now opportunities to serve the country's European and Euro-Atlantic priorities. Georgia's cannot have a future without Europe," she said.
