Large part of Armenian town suffers from gas and electricity shortage

A considerable part of the town of Vanadzor has been without gas and electricity for two days, the Armenian Epress.am website reported on Feb. 5 referring to the Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.

The cause was a massive explosion on February 3.

Head of the Vanadzor office of the Helsinki Citizens' Assembly Artur Sakunts told the newspaper that everything started with the termination of the gas supply.
