IAEA chief arrives in Tehran

Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano has arrived in Iranian capital of Tehran earlier today, ISNA news agency reported on Nov 11.

Amano has arrived in Iran on the invitation of the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation, Ali Akbar Salehi. Technical issues will be discussed between Iran's Atomic Energy Organisation and the IAEA in Tehran.

A new cooperation agreement will also be signed between Iran and the IAEA, ISNA reported citing a diplomatic source. Ali Akbar Salehi and Yukiya Amano will sign the agreement.

Previous talks were held between Iran and IAEA on October 29-30 in Vienna.
