Ivanishvili to introduce new 'more effective' PM candidate

Bidzina Ivanishvili speaking on the Caucasia TV Channel said on Friday that he will present the candidate for Prime Minister of Georgia on Tuesday or Wednesday.

According to Ivanishvili, the new prime minister will be "more effective" than him.

"His work will only focus on the government and ministers and will be more effective," he said.
At the same time he noted that he excludes the possibility of appointment to this post of the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development, Deputy Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili.

According to Ivanishvili, "Kvirikashvili will remain a deputy in the economic field, although the new prime minister will also understand the economy."
