US President Barack Obama said Wednesday the US has not yet made a decision on its response to a chemical weapons attack in Syria last week, dpa reported.
"Nobody disputes that chemical weapons were used in Syria on a large scale," Obama said in an interview with US public broadcasting. He said Syrian government forces were the only ones capable of carrying out the attack.
The US president said he had no interest in launching an open-ended confrontation, but "there needs to be international consequences."/Trend/
