30 million protesters reported in Egypt

Nearly 30 million people participated in recent demonstrations in different cities of Egypt, "Al Arabiya" TV channel reported on Saturday.

It is reported that, the majority of demonstrators consisted of those, who support the army and in particular, the call of the Defense Minister Abdelfattah al-Sisi to support the plan of the interim government on fighting against terrorism.

On July 3, the Egyptian army ousted the Islamist president Mohammed Morsi from power, suspended the constitution and ordered the head of the Constitutional Court to carry out the authorities of the head of state for a transitional period.

Recently, the Egyptian court ordered to arrest ousted President Mohamed Morsi for 15 days within the ongoing investigation. The court accused Morsi of cooperating with HAMAS, as well as escaping from prison during the 2011 revolution.
