Georgian president meets with Bulgarian and Swedish FMs

Georgian president and foreign ministers of Bulgaria and Sweden discussed deepening of cooperation between Georgia and the EU in Tbilisi. As the Georgian Presidential Administration told Trend, Mikheil Saakashvili received Swedish Foreign Minister Carl Bildt and Bulgarian Foreign Minister Nikolai Mladenov at the presidential palace.

Head of the EU mission in Georgia Philip Dimitrov also attend the meeting.

The sides stressed the importance of the ongoing reforms in Georgia and strengthening of democratic processes.

The ministers, who arrived yesterday in Tbilisi, will hold a meeting with Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze, and ministers of the interior, defense and reintegration today.

They will also meet with representatives of civil society.
