U.S. top official to visit Turkey

U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Bill Burns will pay visits to Jordan, Iraq and Turkey between September 10-15, Anadolu reported.

State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland said that Burns' visit would provide a strong signal of U.S. commitment to the region and enhance international coordination efforts on Syria.

Meanwhile, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration Assistant Secretary Anne C. Richard will also visit Turkey between September 10-15 and hold talks in Istanbul, Ankara and Adana.
