Georgian Parliamentary elections will worth 29 million lari ($ 1 = 1.65 lari) to the state budget. The Central Election Commission of Georgia has determined this amount to prepare and conduct elections, scheduled for October 1.
Some 33 applications from political parties who wish to participate in the parliamentary elections in Georgia have been already received at this stage, head of CEC Zurab Kharatishvili said.
However, this list will grow, as parties, represented in the parliament, can submit an application until 18.00 on August 5.
The CEC of Georgia went to the emergency mode of operation, beginning to create electoral commissions in 73 districts after the election date announcement.
Some 48 thousand people will work in the election administration system by October 1.
