Turkish airline employees' strike affects flights

About 200 employees of Turk Hava Yollari (Turkish Airlines) are holding a massive strike at Istanbul Ataturk Airport against a bill being considered by parliament that prohibits airport employees to strike, CNN Turk TV channel said today.

International flights from Istanbul-Tel Aviv and Istanbul-New York are being delayed because of the strike. A few more flights are expected to be delayed or postponed if staff continue striking.
