National leader Heydar Aliyev`s memory marked in foreign countries

Azerbaijan`s Consulate General in Saint Petersburg has arranged a commemorative event to mark memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev. Consul general Gudsi Osmanov told of irreplaceable merits of Heydar Aliyev in strengthening of the country`s independence and economic development. He said close relations established between Azerbaijan and Russia thanks to the national leader Heydar Aliyev are successfully continued by President Ilham Aliyev. The participants watched a documentary on life and activity of Heydar Aliyev.

A memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev was also commemorated in Dresden. The event brought together representatives of Azerbaijani, Turkish, Russian and Jewish communities.

A memory of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was revered in Russia`s Yekaterinburg city.
Consul general Soltan Gasimov briefed on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s great contribution to establishment of Azerbaijan`s independence.

The participants told of life and activity of national leader and irreplaceable merits in strengthening of Azerbaijan`s sovereignty. The participants watched Russian director Andrey Konchalovsky`s film “Government`s weight” dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev.

Azerbaijan`s Embassy to Moldova has arranged a commemorative event to mark memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The members of the embassy and Azerbaijanis Congress in Moldova laid a wreath at the bust of national leader Heydar Aliyev.

A presentation of Vagif Mustafayev`s film “Special assignment” was also held. Ambassador Namig Aliyev thanked ex-president Luchinsky and head of Moldova`s Presidential Administration Popescu for support of the presentation. The political figures, heads of diplomatic missions, students of Moldovan Universities and mass media watched a film. The books, CDs, “Baku” magazine were disseminated among the participants.
