National leader Heydar Aliyev`s memory marked in Berlin

Azerbaijan`s Embassy in Berlin has arranged a commemorative event to mark memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The event was attended by representatives of the Azerbaijani community in Germany.

Azerbaijani ambassador Parviz Shahbazov opened the event speaking about the national leader`s services to the Azerbaijani people. Speaking at the event, chairman of the Azerbaijani Society of Mainz Bashar Komur and head of the Baku-Berlin gallery Ibrahim Ahrari told of the national leader`s lifetime and activity as well as their meetings with him. The event participants saw a documentary entitled “We are Azerbaijanis”.
